I will be taking a cruise to the Carribbean on Monday and need to know if I should pack the bug repellant. Mosquitos, ants, and roaches?

I've been on several cruises and never once experienced any type of bugs on board. Even in port I never got bitten or saw anything other than those hugh palmetto bugs (tropical roach).
Lucky you! Have an excellent time.

I don't think that there are that many flying bugs at sea -- there is no place out there for them to land and catch a rest. Maybe at the island ports of call when you stop.

i've haven't been on a cruise yet, but mosquitos will be there!!! some say besides mosquito spray, you can carry a dryer sheet in your pocket, they hate those????? there's more germs on the handrails, keep your hands off of those & wash your hands frequently!!!(esp. before you Eat)!!! check for bed bugs, & you can carry those home!! take the bed sheets off before you get in them what line are you taking?? let me know how it was!!!

Only in some ports. And very few at that. At sea, you never see them. Have fun.
