I have been giving my cat "Friskies" recently and now it's like it has diarrhea. Every night, it purrs very loudly and keeps on meowing. What does my cat want to tell me? My cat is 11 months old. Is that considered an adult?

soon after i got my kitten i realise that he loved wet food so much more so i started giving him just wet food. he then started having diarrhea so i gave him a mix of wet and dry food, cutting the wet food down to 2 pouches a day at most and he seemed fine after that. I don't know if it was changing his food too quickly or just too much wet food but going back to a mix of dray and wet food worked for me :)

Almost, anyway. You may want to take kitty to the vet and find out what's wrong. And give him a different food: Two cats I've had in the past couldn't eat Friskies without getting sick.

That will happen if you are feeding it soft food, letting it drink a lot of milk, or giving it people food. If you aren't doing any of those, try a different cat food.

Your cat is still young. Its not sure how quickly cats age, but probably similar to a dog (1 human year=approximately 7 dog years). Next year teenager, then adolescent. 3-4 year old cats begin to settle down into their mature 'adult' years.

When you change their food it should always be a slow process because it can cause some ill effects like diarrhea. Yes, your cat is no longer a kitten and has become an adult.

I would make a visit to a Veterinarian for a checkup.. Do not give cats much milk. Keep water handy. A variety of soft and hard food is best..

It sounds like the "friskies" doesn't agree with your cat.
Either feed her the food she's used to, or if you MUST for some reason feed her the "Friskies" you have to add it to her diet very slowly.

Just stop feeding your cat Friskies it could be the cause.

Well did you just change the food?? If you changed the food right away that would cause it. You should slowly change the food in over a weeks time.
