in the case of court ordered probation, yes they can. non payment is considered contempt of the court.. if you are having genuine problems contact the court clerk asap before they send out a warrent for you and you end up with a long term vacation at tax payers expense.. work something out, it can be done, just do it politely

Keeping up with your financial obligation is more than likely part of your original Rules of Probation so yes, if you get behind your probation can be revoked. If you were/are having finanical difficulties, your best bet is to contact your PO ASAP to see if a payment arrangement can be worked out. However, if you were arrested again I'm sure you would find money for bond and for an attorney (which is how the court will see it as well), so I would advise you to get caught up on your court ordered financial obligation. Good luck!

They can, but there are limitations. It would have to be proven that you recklessly and intentionally failed to pay your fees. In other words, that you had the ability and chose not to pay. If you don't have the money for fees, but have the money for non-essentials in life (cell phone, entertainment, etc), they can revoke you.

You need to talk to your Probation Officer about this as soon as possible to try to work out a plan to get your fees paid off.

You better believe they can pick you up and put you in jail... just takes a Judge's bench order and you're in a cell with a muscle bound guy named 'Bubba' with romance in his eyes
