There is a guy at work I really like, I have for a couple weeks now, and I want to ask him to go out with me for a drink or to hang out or something to get to know him better or see if he's interested in me. The thing is, when I am at home, I make up what I want to say to him in my head but then when I see him I can't go up to him and say any of the things that I want to. I know alot of you are going to say JUST DO IT, but REALLY it's so hard. I chicken out all the time. I'm starting to think all I can do is ask a friend to talk to him for me. I know that is immature(I'm 29!!) but I can't work up the nerve to ask him out! Do you think it would really be that bad if I asked a friend to talk to him for me????

Hell no!!!
The friend may get the goods....you do it!!

Unplanned, spur of the moment stuff is much better than some old planned out, boring recital. Be "spur of the moment."...show him how exciting and fun/likeable you can be..."Just Do It!!"

Don't wait...You break the ice, before someone else does!

If you are female you don't have the sophistication to pull it off. If you are male and the guy is not gay then, really, what are you talking about.
Otherwise, casual conversation is all we have to casually get to know someone and have a casual cup of coffee. It is so simple that people are incapacitated because they don't keep it simple. Guaranteed.

Be flirty with him and make him want to ask you out. If he truly feels the same for you he will ask you out for a drink. Just wait on him.

its ok, it happens to the best of us. sometimes its not the doing that really scares you, its the response. so prep yourself for all the possible responses you think you might get, esp the bad ones. that way you're prepared for the worst, and have less to lose.
