Only character I know is Goose from top gun. Tall funny guy who sings elvis and dies in a plane crash. Good guy nonetheless.

Goose was the best-friend character in Top Gun. He was funny, smart, loyal, had a great wife... And then he died in a training accident, which was a turning point for the main character's development.
I have no idea if that helps at all, because I doubt it's what she was after when she made the nickname. Try asking *her* what her unusual ICQ handle means!
