Anybody ever seen or heard of that?

If a cat feels threatened enough, it would do anything to survive.

For the most part, though, cat's don't automatically go for the eyes. I've fostered some pretty darn mean cats, and I have scars on my hands and arms to prove it...but none on my face anywhere near my eyes.

My kitten used to be mesmorised by my eyelashes moving so would kinda paw at them (not scratch). But i thought that this might become dangerous as he got older so i taught him not to do it. Normally my kitten will only bite hands and arms, he has only ever scratched my face once and i think that was only coz he got abit over excited when i was playing with him.

If it's really threatened or pissed off...but most of the time, it will go for the arms, or bite.
