Riddles are asked like a couplet of a poem whereas quiz is asked directly as question. In riddles we describe a particlar thing in poetic way by giving some clues about that particular thing. Here we guess the answer. In a quiz you have to be accurate with your answer. Sometimes options are given to answer the question. Quiz is based on facts and happenings around us

A riddle is a conundrum; requiring thought to answer or understand.... some thing that usually puzzles you.

A quiz tests the knowledge a person has acquired; thus it's interrogative.

riddles are questions with fun while quizzes r questions with knowledge

quizzes have options .but....

riddles are better than quizes bcos they are tricky.

riddles are generic.. no subject knowledge is to be tested... they test IQ's and are some times funny... not the case wid quizzez.
