I'm not sure what your question is, but I do feel the pain. Search youself to find your answers. You are a worthwhile person, it was the booze that your family left, not you. Which do you want? You CAN do it ,if that is what you really want. Forgive youself, and start over. Take it one day, one hour or ten min. at a time. WE can all do anything for just one hour at a time, if we really want it bad enough. What was the cause of your drinking? What did you need to escape from? Change the way you think about it, if you cann't fight it embrace it ,change it ,redirect it til you can accept it. You are worthwhile because there will never be another you. Because you bothered to ask, it tells me you aren't ready to give up. All is not lost, but it is up to you, another can not do it for you. See yourself in your minds eye, the way you want to be, and every day, take steps only in that direction, and soon you will be the person you invisioned yourself to be. Might as well give it a try, what more do you have to lose. With each small positive step you will gain a new degree in self esteem ...you have no where to go but up. Be kind to yourself, forgive yourself. Today..love yourself.

first off put the alcohol down, drink some coffee or sleep it off, then re-ask the question. personally. I come from a long line of alcoholics and lost my dad, granddad, and gran from this . I myself have discovered along with my siblings it is hereditary in our family. I am proud to say that none of as are serious drinkers, we may drink a drink probably once every three months. as for your family they must not be that important for you to not try to get some kind of help. please do. From one who knows the loss of a loved one from alcoholism.

My granddaddy would say "the bottom of the bottle is a great place to visit but you wouldn't wanna live there" Drinking is fine but when you loose everything that is deer to you all for the sake ok having your next drink, knock it off, get your life back and put down the bottle.

an alcoholic cannot be helped unless he or she wants it they have to want it so bad for themselves that they are willing to stop and will do anything to cure themselves. i have known people like this since I am a bartender they convince themselves they need to drink sometimes to remember or to forget things that happened to them but its just an excuse to stay drunk.they have to look deep inside their own self before change happens sometimes it never does I wish you luck in whatever your situation is.
