It could be a boil or a cyst. So, unless you get it treated, you will not heal. If you can't go to doctor for some reason, you may need to try some poultice etc. to see whether it ripens and breaks.

It may not be any thing to worry about but it could be some thing.. If its getting bigger i might start to worry i think you should get your self down to your local gp asap.. If you leave it over night just ask your husband before you go to bed to keep checking on you if he can.. Try and stay calm..

probably a sebaceous cyst, which has become infected.
