Ghosts are not of God so they are not from Heaven. There are no trapped souls.

So many sceptics on here Katie! Hell does not exist - it is a man made concept to frighten, enpower and indoctrinate. Heaven, or spirit world as I call it does exist. All spirits/souls departing their earthly body go to Heaven whether they have sinned or not (God loves us all). Some spirits, however, who have had a violent death, such as an accident or murder, sometimes don't believe that they have died and so they remain trapped. Also those who have greatly sinned refuse to go over into the other realm for fear that they will be punished. Ghost is just that - everything is made of energy on the earth and sometimes a trace of that energy can be left behind which we see as a 'ghost' but this is not a real spirit just an impression/imprint. I have this knowledge because I am a spiritual medium. For those who don't believe - why then is there a body of psychiatrists and therapists, funded by the NHS, who deal with spiritual attachment to people? It is now recognised that spirits do exist.

Hi, I work as a medium and can say yes they do exist but people are entitled to believe what they wish. Life does exist after the the material level ( Earth). Ghost are an energy of what is left behind. everything around us and our self even our thoughts are energy and they get left in the places they are created .For example; you have an argument that energy created from that will imprint and exist in the atmosphere as a residual energy. Spirits however are different it is the part of us that exists outside of the material world d. Our bodies are just a vessel that allows our spirit to progress spiritually. Ghosts are not a spirit just an impression left in the atmosphere. Spirits can come and go in visitation or can choice to stay in this realm. I hope this helps? Kim

Ghosts are trapped souls. They are caught between this world & the other side. Often this happens when someone dies & they feel they've done something wrong that God will punish them for, or if they died very suddenly in tragic circumstances & didn't know they'd gone. Other reasons can be that they don't want to leave earth as they have unresolved issues such as they don't want to leave their children. I have never seen a ghost, but I know a few people who have. People often confuse ghosts with spirits, but spirits are people who have died & passed over to the other side. Hell doesn't exist. It is right here on earth.

Spirits are not always trapped souls as some seem to think, many are here because they want to be, why to help us in many ways, others come to visit, and there are a few that a trapped, Heaven is not a place where time exist as we know it that's why a spirit can be anywhere in the world in a second, and its up to you what you believe but don't listen to the They don't exist crown, if they don't believe, they should at least keep an open mind, as they can't prove spirit don't exsit can they

Heaven is home to the spirit creation.
This is where Jehovah,Christ, the 144,000 and all the angels reside.
The Bible does not teach that a place of eternal fiery torment known as hell exists.
When we die we go back to the ground from which we came.We are not aware of anything. This is what the Bible teaches.
There is no such thing as ghosts. These are only demons tricking and mocking humans.
The Bible also does not teach that the body has a 'soul' which leaves the body when it dies. This is a pagan teaching as is the concept of a fiery place of torment.

Haven't experienced anything of that sort. However, its interesting that most cultures seem to believe in them.
When I was growing up in a medieval city, there were a lot of stories about ghosts, there was even poltergeist activity at my school, at least it was reported. Our history teacher, who was not given to flights of fancy, said he'd seen books flying through the air in the school library. Some kids had also seen it.
I don't think there's anything about it in the bible. Not in the New Testament. Not fully familiar with the Old Testament; Saul consulted a witch in the Old Testament and it seemed that the spirit of Samuel the prophet, who had died, was summoned up before him.

As I Christian, I have to say that I have only heard of two references to "spirits" in the Bible. One is the Holy Spirit and I doubt if that would be in the form of a "ghost", and the other is a "demon spirit" such as Jesus called out of a person. It does not say anything about people who have died and just not left the earth completely. It appears by that information that spirits per se are either from the heavenly realm or the hellish realm. Being that human beings all have a soul (spirit), God is in control of them so I don't believe that they would be lost somewhere etc.

You can find most ghosts somewhere roaming around the world. According to CBS & NBC (2004), about 93% of all voting people believe in ghosts, and ghosts were actually spotted in some areas near the Rocky Mountains.
