I am a 14 year old girl and last year I had a massive crush on this lad in my class but he turned me down. And now we are REALLY good mates. But the thing is all my friends say that he flirts with me, but I haven't noticed. We sometimes work together in class. And when we don't he turns round and talks to me. When we do work together everyone laughs at us and it's horrible cause he goes really shy. Can someone please help. Does he like me or not? I know there isn't much there to help you decided but that's all i've noticed.

School is a place to study, don';t make it more complicated by such things at a young age.

Ten years from now it wouldn't matter.

You both are young. This may be his first time feeling like this (liking a girl) and he's handling it the best he can. (for his age)
It does seem he likes you....I believe he does.
Don't rush anything...let nature take it's course.
Be his close friend for now. I bet he asks you to be his girlfriend later.
If you want to say anything, it can be something like, "You're such a sweet boy and you're so nice to me."
Let it go from there....you'll see.......

Don't ask him out. (makes you look desperate)

Get his number and call him. Strike a general conversation with him. Tell him he's a nice guy. He should be soon okay at school too, as long as you continue to interact with each other.

Go up to him and ask him. But, do it in private. Tell him you like him and want to hang out. Go from there.

I think you should call him or IM him.
It'll be less painful to ask him out that way.
