if he sent 20,000 troops to ferret out bin laden, maybe, but the fight in iraq is not over yet, that place is like a septic tank with a clogged leech field, the more we dump down the drain, the more crap comes bubbling up elsewhere. when the pols finally realize that the iraqis must all be dis-armed and the borders 100% secured, the sooner it will be over.. in the mean time, war is hell, and people are gonna get hurt. truth be said, just as many individuals get hurt on a daily basis in peacetime, we just dont hear it every hour on the tv`s and radio. give the press something else to chew on for a while, like taking care of the illegal alien problem.. when all of the troops do decide to return home, bush will need to find them jobs-- that will be his atonement if successful

For one thing, PRESIDENT BUSH did not cause those. If BUSH was a DICTATOR, yes. But since more than he is involved, point at yourself for electing all who helped decide to send our troops over there (assuming you DID vote...probably you didn't).
It was the ENEMY (inbred Iraqis) who wounded and killed our troops. As far as the IRAQI CIVILIAN DEATHS...our troops don't go out looking for INNOCENT civilians. As in any war, innocent civilians are wounded and killed accidentally. MOST of those killed were killed by their OWN COUNTRYMEN INDISCRIMINATELY MURDERING them.
So get your facts straight. And if you didn't vote, you have not right to whine.

I read in the paper this morning about how 800 contract workers have been killed over there....mostly Haliburton employees. Gee, what that company won't do for a buck.

I have to agree with the first answerer. We had 291,000 killed and 670,000 wounded in World War II. By your logic we lost that war and gained nothing from it.

Your figures are off regarding US deaths... we've exceded 3,000 weeks ago.

Otherwise your question is rhetorical and unworth further effort

No, because he continues to garner the support of millions of Americans who will never have to fight in the continued occupation of Iraq.

Bush now wants 20,000 new troops in Iraq. It sure doesn't sound like he's concerned with those lives...

Maybe twenty years from now, when the intelligence the US knew at his time will be revealed, will we have the real dope on this administration.

PLEASE!!!! Has he ever had to pay for anything he has ever done? In this life, he may get away with this but there will come a day when he will have to answer for what he did and he will not be able to lie, buy or blame anyone else...He will solely have to stand alone.
