twas really a miracle... we prayed for Sebastian's recovery and now, he has recovered remarkably.. he eats normally-- his poo has no blood and he doesn't secrete saliva with blood anymore.. the only treatment i did was antibiotics, anti-diarrhea tablets and concentrated food gels..
i really thought he wouldn't make it because the vet had diagnosed that he could be infected with parvo.... and since i didn't give him any parvo meds --- twas a miracle that he came out of it...
thanks!

Ask the vet for a payment plan.Otherwise, have the vet humanely euthanize your dog by injection(not very expensive) if there is no hope. You may also contact your local humane society or recsue organizations for help.

You should try to ask your vet for a payment plan or find a cheaper vet. If all else fails take him to the Humane Society, they will make him better and find a home that can afford to take care of him. This happened to my puppy and he had to stay at the vet for the entire weekend, It cost me an arm and a leg but he got better. He had parvo and was very dehydrated. Please don't let your dog suffer anymore. It is very hard for them when they are sick. I would not suggest putting your dog down unless you know he is dying. If not don't be selfish and keep him just because you can't afford to help him. Give him to someone who can. I hope this helped. :)

Okay I need a bit more information here...
1) How old is your dog? If he is still younger than 9-10 then don't put him down!
2) What is wrong with him? If the smell is coming from his ears then its just an ear infection and there is no need to put him down!
3) Do you go to a nice expensive vet? Try a little cheap one that might still have what you need.
and 4) Why did you get 3 dogs if you can't afford to keep them healthy?!?!?!?

Let's don't guilt trip the poor guy now-he is in need of help, not lectures.
If your vet is willing to allow you to set up a payment plan, then do whatever you think is best.If your vet is not, ask her to refer you to one who is perhaps more willing to work with you. Most vets understand that people don't have several thousand in disposable cash laying around.
If this is not something you feel that your dog can recover from, then have the vet put him down. It's gut wrenching, but the alternative is not an option.
Good luck to you and your dog.

on a similar time as I do think of this is irresponsible of a puppy proprietor to have a puppy with out being waiting to have the money for an emergency holiday to the vet if needed, I additionally think of that there are some puppy afflictions which could be remedied without a vet. very like human wellness care, it fairly is stupid and neurotic to flow to the prevalent practitioner including your animal each and each time he has a minor concern that must be remedied at domicile. despite the fact that, i'm appalled once I examine questions like, "My dogs's no longer respiratory, what ought to I do?" different issues, like minor dermis irritations, mild allergic reactions, etc. are in line with hazard reliable to ask approximately at right here incredibly of working to the vet, through fact some at-domicile help could be waiting to be administered.

hey im really sorry to hear this. my dog got run over and had to have a metal plate put in his leg, we could either get the leg amputated, get it fixed or put him down we didnt want to put him down or get rid of the leg. the vets offerd to take the dog off us and take him to a rescue centure where they would treat him then get him rehomed. but we didnt want that so we decided to pay the huge fee. me and some friends frm school did a sponcerd run and a talent show and every penny we got went into a jar we rased £400 and the rest my relitives mandeged to pay why dont you try doing theis being older you can prob do much more things. good luck i hope this helps and i hope your dog gets better.

Confinement for what? What did the vet say is wrong with him?
If you Cannot afford to bring him to a vet and get him the help he needs you shouldn't have dogs...Please DO NOT let him SUFFER. Bring him to your local animal shelter. They will either get him the help he needs or humanly euthanize him.

An injection is probably the quickest, most humane method. I'm sorry about Sebastian, the same thing happened with my dog last year. I am glad that he didn't have to suffer for longer than he did though.

I think you need to determine first whether this dog can be cured-you don't say what is actually wrong with the dog.
Has the vet made a diagnosis?-If so what is the prognosis?
Would the dog recover and what would be his quality of life then?

NO NOT PUT THE DOG DOWN YET
Give the por animal a chance. Look, since you have a dog you need to pay for it. So pay for the fee to help the poor pup. Dog.
