Make yourself a weight loss graph where you enter your daily/weekly weight and when you see the curve going up again, then you will get so annoyed with yourself that you want it go further down and start working on it properly. It is also a good way to change to healthy eating. Have a food diary, it will show you the amount you eat in a day, as we otherwise forget what we had over the day, but it actually sums up.
Another thing is to make pics of yourself in underwear and look at them and decide, what you want to change and then do that over the next couple of weeks. When you put those pics next to eachother, you will be more able to see a differance rather than looking in the mirror, as we get used to our own sight.
Good luck!

The thing that got me motivated to lose weight was a quote I saw on my aunt's refridgerator door that said this: "There is nothing that tastes better than how being thin feels." My aunt used to work for Weight Watchers, and that's why it was there. I saw it during Christmas Dinner and promptly stopped eating too much after that. Part of the problem that you might be having too is that you don't think you have any will power. It's hidden in there somewhere. You just need the right motivation. Sign up for a weekly fitness class with a friend at your gym. Having some kind of activity every week that someone is depending on you to join them for is a really good start. And if you don't like running or the gym, there's plenty of other things you can do to lose weight at home. Simply putting in stretch breaks to walk around inside or outside between long periods of sitting at one place can help. You can also look up some good training programs on the internet that you can follow. Just know that once you start exersizing, your self confidence will sky rocket and you'll feel better about yourself alot of the time (that's what happened to me, and that's what keeps me exersizing every day even after I've reached my weight-loss goal). Losing weight isn't just something you do once in a while, it's a healthy life style.

Well, you can't just do it right up till the wedding, because you have to get a wedding dress. Do you already have it?

It really shouldn't matter what you weigh or look like because your groom still loves you anyway.

But hey, if it's really that important to you, then tell yourself that you need to put off excessive eating until the wedding. Don't completely take chocolate out of your diet. Only have it about once a week and if you can't run/go to the gym, walk somewhere. Walk around the neighborhood, get yourself moving. By the end of the week if you've done what you told yourself you were going to do, then reward yourself with a -little- snack. If you haven't done it, tell yourself that you won't reward yourself and next time you do do it, you won't take the reward.

By your wedding day you should be ready for your husband to smash a big piece of wedding cake into your face, just make sure you get him back.

OK, I'm not trying to fit into a wedding dress or anything ;), but I am trying to lose some poundage. Here is what I have discovered: When you work out, your body secretes endorphines (yeah, I know, All the health articles you have ever read are telling you this, but its true!!) Anyway, what you do is this: 1. do a LIGHT workout. 2. Wait. What is going to happen is after your workout (its been about half an hour for me) you will experience a slight elevation in your mood, and you will FEEL your body's energy.
When you can FOCUS ON THIS FEELING, and get all that other negative crap out of your mind, you can LOOK FORWARD TO YOUR WORKOUT.
Its not that hard, you just have to start.

I found the book to be very informative and easy to read.

I've lost 17 pounds in 12 days, I'm just concerned that I'm losing too much weight, too quickly. I will admit I haven't followed the guide exactly. I'm not sticking perfectly to the listed foods and meal plans (but mostly) and doing very little exercise, but the weight keeps flying off.

It clearly works and if I'd followed it exactly I think it would scare the living daylights out of me because of the amount that I'd lose. So thanks again for the information. I've never purchased anything like this before because they are usually full of trash, but 3WD has been a pleasant surprise.

Get started today!

I think size 12 is normal, you want to have some curves in your wedding dress, however if your'e determined, don't eat after 5 or 6 o'clock at night, and cut bread down to 2 slices a day. you'll soon lose the weight, buteat healthly otherwise.

To be honest Kirsty the answer lies with yourself. Your question is so negative. First of all I think you need to change the way you are thinking, which will hopefully change the belief you have in yourself (or lack of it at the moment). If you start believing that you do in fact have will power and CAN do it then you are half way there - positive thinking brings about positive results. At the moment the way you are thinking is holding you back. With the positive thinking you should start to eat properly and exercise better. Although size 12 is nice I understand your reasoning and know that if it is something you really want then of course you can do it - Just Believe!!!

Diets do no longer artwork. some say they could desire to be banned! Why do no longer they artwork? in view which you constantly want some factor you're no longer waiting to have, and at an analogous time as you narrow back on nutrients the physique starts to place fat into storage! exercising feels like too much perplexing artwork for a lot human beings, besides the incontrovertible fact that there could be one very reachable skill you would be waiting to manage your weight. It way you would be waiting to hold to eat what you like, and give up at an analogous time as you're finished, and journey each mouthful. What i'm speaking approximately is weight manage hypnosis. that is worked for me and that i somewhat recommend Michael J. Edwards at here cyber web web site.

Try to go for a brisk walk for about 30 minutes a day it really helps, the time will also go quicker if you take some music to listen to. I understand about the chocolate (I too hate the gym and running but love chocolate!), what I found with this is to get chocolates that have a richer flavour, then you are likely to eat less if that makes sense... dark chocolates also have less fat that white or milk chocolates.
Good luck for the wedding
