absolutely correct
G-d didn't need a son with special "powers" or whatever
G-d was/is/and will forever more be greater than any corporal entity could ever be
it's a belief in a weaker god to think that G-d needed to create a physical body
and not only that....but to compound matters there is always the problem of belief that Christians also seem to believe that there is something that is more powerful than, or just as powerful as G-d when they start talking about their belief in Satan....
wow...so not only is G-d incomplete unless there is a human form but now G-d can also lose to the Devil?
yah...right...doesn't sound like a very powerful G-d to me!

God made the world through His son. God speaks to people through the Spirit. Both Jesus and the Spirit are God, but perform different functions.
Jesus came to earth in human form to find out why people are so easily drawn to sin. God wanted to understand His people--He wanted, and still wants, an intimate relationship with each of us. Since Jesus became human, He knows what we are up against. He came to save us by showing us the way to properly deal with sin--through faith in God, and following His ways.
God is unique with no match, which is why God Himself could not descend into a sinful world. For that task, He sent His son Jesus to save His earthly children from the snags of the devil and eternal hellfire. Our God is a loving God who desires for all of us to remain with Him in heaven after death. : )

He needed to send His Son into the world so that people could relate to Him, and He to us. You see, God, as Jesus, experienced everything we do, except sin, so that He could say when we scream at Him that He doesn't understand what we are going through, that actually He does because He experienced it too.

God did not need a Son, he wanted a Son. Jesus was sent to teach us God's will. He was sent the way he was so we could understand.
