From then he feels a bit of the pain when he moves it and can't put his weight on it...but it is not swallen or anything strange as that, he just feels a bit of a weakness, its not even hurting as it would be expacted, he sais the bigest thing he feels is just weakness.....can somebody tell me what it is and what he can do? (besides going to the doctor, as he can go only at monday)

Thank you in advance!

before 3/4 months he fell from not well fixed bar while working out on both of his knees. I don't know if it can be related to this but also it happend on both knees! Now only one is hurting him. I also read that for dislocated knee, one of the symptoms is getting swallen - which didn't happen in his case. He just fell now due to the lost of strenght in that leg with knee that felt strange from the day when he got up on it a bit differently then normal. Now he is not in big pain at all....just some kind of discomfort and little bit of weakness in the knee....If anybody has any ideas, please write i would appriciate it so much!

It may just be a strain that will heal itself. A tendon will take several weeks to heal completely. (maybe months)

If there is any "popping" around the joint he should see an orthopedic doctor. There could be a tear on a tendon or ligament.

At any rate, keep it wrapped and apply heat and keep elevated as much as possible.

If swelling does occur, seek medical attention.

If he can't put his weight on it after a day or two, he should consider going to a doctor as well.

That is probably a torn meniscus or worse, a cruciate ligament tear. He probably needs an MRI. The knee giving way is a sign that something serious has happened to that knee. Go see an orthopedic surgeon ASAP.

strap with an ace bandage sounds like the cartilage in his knee, wrap put ice on it and take and anti inflammatory such as Ibuprofen or it could be the sciatic nerve, in any case he can go to the emergency room at any time, good luck
