Regaled is an old way of saying entertained. Mostly by storytelling, songs, music etc.

Regaled means entertained, gave pleasure, gratified. "Regalar" in Spanish means "give", as in give a present, and there is a little of this meaning in the English "regale".

If someone "regales" you with stories or jokes they tell you a lot of them whether you want to hear them or not.
