Yes...there is an ' official ' non-smoking day. I thinks it's called Smoke Out or something like that. Yet, any day that a person does not smoke is a ' no smoking day '.
.
I just looked it up . . . This year it's March 14th. That will be an especially nice day for us non-smokers to enjoy. And probably an ' edgy ' day for those smokers who are wonderfully trying to quit smoking. Maybe us non-smokers should hand out some candy or something like that when we see an edgy or person really trying to make it through that day in a positive way.

May 31st is "World No Tobacco Day".
* In 1987, the World Health Assembly passed Resolution WHA40.38, calling for April 7, 1988 to be "a world no-smoking day."
* In 1988, Resolution WHA42.19 was passed, calling for the celebration of World No Tobacco Day, every year on 31 May.
* In 2006, a smoking ban took effect in Ontario and Quebec on May 31.
Theme for 2006 - tobacco: deadly in any form or disguise.
