You can easily make them out of rolled fondant (you can get this at a cake decorating store or a craft store that sells baking supplies). Just tint the pool balls with either liquid food coloring or food coloring paste. You can also roll it to make a cue stick. Plus, its edible!

Go on eBay and type "billiards toy" and you'll find plenty of decorations that can be placed on a cake.
Here's an example
BRAND NEW MINI SMALL POOL TABLE BILLIARDS SET TOY Item number: 180088447857
You can also find these at Dollar Stores, but I'd recommend a good washing before putting them on top of your cake.

Oo, not really... sounds like something you'd just have to get lucky and come across in a store (but of course never when you need it).
How about using gum balls, and something like those fancy candy sticks that are dipped in chocolate on one end, for the cue sticks? I think they even make really skinny ones, for use as coffee/tea stirrers.
Cute idea for a cake... good luck.

It sounds easy just to make them yourself. The sticks could be chopsticks. The balls could be whoppers or gumballs, dipped in white chocolate and decorate them to look like pool balls.
The triangle that you rack with might be made of marzipan, which is almond paste, you can make it or buy it ready to use...ask the bakery staff at the grocery store if they have it somewhere. You would first dye it black, kneading the color in like playdough, roll it out, cut a wide strip, fold it over for the lip that lays flat on the table, then shape it into a rounded triangle.
Alternative would be to make a big flat sugar cookie, cut pieces out to assemble into the triangle, and ice it.

Why not buy some fat gumballs & some edible white paint & make you own pool balls. As for the cues you could use candy ciggarettes & decorate them up.

try going to wilton.com, idk if they do or not, but they r a big company
you can also just make em, get a bunch of the big gumballs or jaw breakers in different colors n use melted white chocolate to paint the designs on.theres also something u can use to paint the designs on from a company called plaid...they have edible paint. try using something called fondant to make the pool cues...roll out long coils and let em dry. u can also maybe geat long candy canes in whatever lavor has a color like a pool cue

try the dollar store toy section. my son is always buying stuff from there and i believe he has bought a little pool set there. if u cant find it there go to a craft store and see. you can also make them. use stick pretzles and cover them w/ frosting or roll them in fondut (i don't think thats how it spell it, but its close!) and use candy for the balls, like little jaw-breakers or something like that. it sound like its going to be cute.
