If the machine you used is reliable.....You have only one choice to go and see a doctor as this level carries very high risks.

Good Luck

Do you know anyone with high blood pressure? If so, take some of their medicine before you have a stroke. It doesn't matter what kind, it will all work. Just take as much as they do. It might not bring it down to normal but will help. That is, if you absolutely cannot go to a doctor.
Then order some of these blood pressure pills:
http://www.inhousepharmacy.com/heart-health/propanolol.html
http://www.inhousepharmacy.com/heart-health/capoten.html
There are no shipping charges and the medicines would only be about $10/month.
Start out at a low dose, check your blood pressure and see if you need to take more. You can adjust it just like a doctor can.
Just don't have a stroke, life is never the same.

Take what money you have, go to the doctor or free clinic or ER if necessary, and get high blood pressure pills. Also, if you are taking your blood pressure readings with the wrong size cuff, it may read higher than it actually is.

You should also change your diet radically. Eat fresh fruits and veggies, drink grape juice that is 100 percent juice, drink a glass or two of red wine each evening. Start eating fish, preferably tuna or salmon, at least three times a week, more if possible.
Eat oatmeal. These foods and drinks are all good for your heart.
Take afternoon naps. It is recommended for lowering blood pressure.

The sooner you take action, the better you will begin to feel.

You are a stroke waiting to happen! That's more expensive than any treatment you could get - not to mention they can be disabling. Think about all the young people in nursing homes - I know, because I am a paramedic. You must get this addressed immediately. Go to your local health dept., a community health clinic, or a medical teaching clinic. All will see you on a sliding fee scale. You can go to an ER - they can't refuse to see you for a lack of ins. Also, a minor emergency center or a physicians office can see you less expensively. How are you checking your BP? If you are using one of those automated digital things, they are notorious for being inaccurate, because they are seldom, if ever, calibrated on a regular basis. Stop by your local EMS or fire dept. and ask them to check it for you. They will do so free of charge. Better beat feet - high blood pressure causes heart and kidney damage. I would advise against taking other peoples medicine. Also - if you take anything that could elevate it (decongestants, for example) STOP. Avoid caffeine. Also nicotine. Good luck. You need it - you are a walking time bomb if you don't hurry up and get help.

I agree, you need to go to a doctor, medical insurance or not!! You have severe hypertension. I'm sorry, that is supposed to be normal for you? That is awful!

WHEN TO CALL YOUR DOCTOR FOR HIGH BP:
Call 911 Now (you may need an ambulance) if:
* You think you are having a stroke or a heart attack
* Difficult to awaken or acting confused

Call Your Doctor Now (night or day) if:
* You feel weak or very sick
* You have chest pain or are feeling dizzy
* Your BP is over 200 / 120

Call Your Doctor Within 24 Hours if:
* You think you need to be seen
* Your BP is over 180 / 110 (and you are feeling fine)

Call Your Doctor During Weekday Office Hours if:
* You have other questions or concerns
* Your BP is over 160 / 100 (and you are feeling fine)
* Your BP is over 140 / 90 and you are taking blood pressure medications
* Your BP is over 130 / 80 and you have any heart problems, kidney disease or diabetes
* Your BP is over 120 / 80 and no improvement 1 month after lifestyle modifications (see Home Care Advice)

Self Care at Home if:
* Your BP is between 120-139 / 80-89 (prehypertension), you are feeling fine, and you don't think you need to be seen.
* Your BP is less than 120 / 80 (normal blood pressure), and you don't think you need to be seen.

After that, your doctor will give you ideas. With a BP that high, you will likely need to be on medication, at least for a while. Besides that, things that will help include:
-More healthy/balanced diet
-Lowering sodium intake
-Relaxing (meditation works well for this)
-Losing weight (if needed)
-Exercising
-NOT SMOKING (hopefully you don't)
-limiting alcohol

My suggestion to you is go to the ER immediately or call an ambulance. You may be having a heart attack. It is better to get care than have deficits or die from this. Its also possible that you are just having angina (chest pain) which can mean that you may have clogged arteries and need to have them cleared or a stint placed.

Honestly this is nothing to dink around with. A heart attack is a serious problem. With your high blood pressure you are at more risk for heart disease. This needs to be taken care of and nothing at home will help you. This is something you need professional help with. Please dont be stubborn or think that nothing bad will happen to you because it can and will.

I have seen what happens to people who wait. Its not good. Hospitals are good about helping people figure out a way to pay when they dont have insurance. You will not be denied health care due to lack of insurance. Money really should not be the reason your not getting care.

Call 911. They will have to at least stabilize you. worry about the insurance and bills, later.
I understand, I have no insurance either.
If you wont go, you have to calm down...breath slow in your nose let out slowly. Calm. You have to stop the panic, it makes it worse.
Then take your pressure again. Do you have any non-caffine tea. Anything that will relax you.
Call someone that makes you laugh. Don't talk about you, ask about them. Thinking about someone else can lower the anxiety.

Did you do anything, eat anything, that shot your blood pressure??
Do you have allergies? Do you have any Benedryll?
Call local hospital, ask to speak to trauma nurse. She can give you some real advise.

If you can't get a grip, call 911.
Hope this helps.
You are not alone, I will be praying for you.
Sorry there has not been another response for you.
Think positive, if you can think enough to type on the screen, you can't be too bad.
I've been with someone who was having a heart attack, and she couldn't type a word.
Get busy thinking about something else.
Wash dishes, it's mindless.

I'm glad to see others are answering, you are scaring us. Go to the doctor, please

Make an appt. with a doctor- they can prescribe a medication to conrol the blood pressure. There are several generic medications now for hypertiension. Tell your Dr. you don't have insureance and they will make sure the prescribe generic. Also, they alwys hve sample meds at the office and they can give you free sample to get you started for a while.

Run do not walk to your doctor or to the nearest ER in your area. There are all kinds of medications that will lower your blood pressure. Losing weight will also help.

If this is an emergency, please call 911. The chest pain and fullness could be a sign of something serious.

Ask your doctor to put you on some anti-hypertensive medications. In all likelihood, you will not HAVE to ask him.

This is not going to fix itself.
