You need to make an appointment with a dietitian and set up an eating plan that's right for you.

Your doctor can help you wit that.

Good luck.
Also- look into diabetes camp. You will love it.

Honestly the Goldfish are probably one of the worst things you can eat (other than straight sugar). These refined carbs will spike your sugar like you can not believe. When you crash from a high, and then take too much insulin you will have a severe. I love Goldfish and I can eat the entire box. Take my advise and kick the Goldfish (and any other refined carbs) quickly.

Good luck.

Ask your doctor if he would send you to nutritionist, They can help you. My son is 14 years old with diabetes. we went and they put him on a correct balanced diet, a diet put together just for him. She asked what his likes where, and she took it from there, so his diet is well balanced with the foods that he likes. There are a lot of neat sugar-free foods out there. My son likes sugar free fruit punch, SF Baby Ruth's, SF Peanut Butter Cups, Jello, also Wal-mart has these fruit waters cant remember the name, They are good too.
