Depends which country you are looking for statistics from.
But because animals are considered property, and their births and deaths are not officially tracked, the exact statistics will probably never be made available. There is no requirement for companies and organizations that perform animal experimentation to report deaths resulting from that experimentation.

In the UK it is estimated 5-6 million animals are bred then killed each year.
