Help please!!!?

I've had a crush on this guy for a long, long, long time and I always act silly, flirty around him and he acts sort of the same, but he acts more like a brother than a boyfriend. The reason I'm confused is lately he's been acting ALOT more flirty toward me like during lunch, I catch him looking at me and then when I look over, he looks away, and he goes out of his way just to give me a hug after school before I leave. Does this mean that he MIGHT be intersted or just being friendly?? * tear* Please help me. I really like him and I just need to know.... please..... Thanks.

B.T.W. He's in 7th grade and I'm in 8th grade. Kinda wierd, but it's normal at my school.

Me and my friends (who r girls) always give him a hug after school, but lately he just acts more happy when he hugs me then my friends.

Chances are he likes you, and may see you as a possible GF. He may be too shy to make the first move, but if you decide to make the first move be careful, although i'm fairly certain he likes you as more than friends there is a possibility that i'm wrong. However if you ask him out or somthing then you know, always wonderin what if is the worst. And if you 2 are friends then it shoudl make things too akward if he says no, just act normaly and things will be back to the same shortly. But chances are he'll say yes, you could always say "Hey i had a dream last night it was kinda interesting we were on a date, what do you think about that" or something like that or" hey one of my friends has this crazy idea that you may like me" or " one of my friends keeps saying that we'd make the perfect couple" that way its not like your really admiting to liking him, but inviting him to admit it comfertably. First off ain't nuttin wrong wit going wit a 7th grader n u n 8th. dats very normal. He might b interested cause:
1) he datin an older woman.
- Most boys want 2 go wit older woman, cause day feel like da got game, and want 2 b wit a smart and intellegent female.

2) He thinks your cute.
- i know a 7th grader ain't gon hang around u n b huggin on u if he thought dat u were ugly, so he must b attractited 2 u.

3) He thinks u have a good personallty
- Most boys want a woman who they can call, and hang around wit. Some just might want 2 kick it wit u, learn more about u, and from u. (Know dats wat im talkin bout)

Da bad side of this, is dat he might be very excited to b wit u (Cause of 1-3) then like once u n him go together 4 like a month or so, he might get bored wit u, and dat would b da end of dat relationship. U should ask yourself:

1) Wat do u like about him? (pysical features only)
- Do u like how he dress, look, smell?

2) Do u like his personalatiy?
-wat charactorics do u look for n a boy?

3) Do he treat u day way u want 2 b treated all the time?
- Do he treat u like da woman u wanted 2 b treated like?

4) Other
- Do u like active guys? Is he active?
Do he make u laugh? Is he able 2 make u smile wen u r havin a bad day? Do he care about u if u don't chow up 2 skewl dat day? Do he go crazy if he don't talk 2 u dat day?

I can c dat u like him, and he is interested in u. U should also get 2 know mmore about him, dat would let him know dat u r into him. U should also try e-mailing him, and/or callin him on da fone. If u can't figure out something to talk about on da fone, b4 u call him/ or he call u, think of sum good topics to start a good conversation off. u should also try 2 think of some things dat he would like 2 talk about. sounds like hes probably into you. But if you both of you just keep flirting and staring and doing nothing else.. it will never progress and you will never find out for sure. Why dont you ask him and his friends casually what they are doing one weekend? and maybe you all could go as a group somewhere? Then you guys could see if it would progress any further then just flirting

so i was sort of in this situation, except the guy was my BEST friend. i started to think, you know, i'm already this close to him, i could have him any night/weekend/whenever i wanted to why mess that up? if we were to date, i don't think it would have affected our relationship. i just thought it'd be better to have him as a best friend with benifits. it turned out that we did like each other ALOT, but we both sat down and talked about it together, alone and figured out we should save the heartbreak [because we both tend to fall fast] and just be BEST FRIENDS WITH BENEFITS. :]
