i eat meat, and i think it is sad that people judge other people by what they eat. I have to say as a meat eater not all of us are cruel. If vegans and vegetarians can not look down on us what gives us the right... live and let live, I say! I am sorry you were ridiculed by somebody with a small mind.

Omnivore here! I don't have any issues with vegetarians/vegans. Actually, I think I have a great deal of respect for your ability to make a choice and stick with it. I do feel sad that it has become trendy to be veg, and that there are a lot of young people that are doing it wrong. I worry only about the fact that without doing the homework, they may not be eating very healthy. I have met sweet vegetarians, and sweet meat eaters, I have met rude vegetarians, and rude meat eaters. I don't think food has anything to do with it, I think wisdom and class, and maturity have more to do with it then anything else. I am sorry that so many trolls pester and pick on you guys here. I find this section a great place for motivating myself to make better choices. So don't let it get to you too much, I applaud your ability to make your own choices and your ability to stand behind them.

I eat meat and I don't come to this section to be cruel or mean. I only eat pultry and salmon, which gets old after awhile and I come here to get some new meatless recipe ideas (i try to have a vegatarian dinner at least once a week). Two of my best friends are vegetarian and vegan. If the meat eaters come in here being mean, just ignore them.
But if you're going to say that, also know that there are vegans and vegetarians who CONSTANTLY try to "convert people". I've heard all the information before, I am not going to change my diet anytime soon. If I can respect your differences in diet, please respect mine without trying to tell me about pain and suffering of animals everytime I eat a chicken sandwich.

properly because the caveman days, we were searching animals and ingesting them for nutrition and survival. i won't be able to imagine any vegitables might want to were able to strengthen back then via climate (do not carry me to that). i wager it truly is a organic instinct. do not you note how in case you wave a chunk of meat and a peice of vegitable in a canines's face that is going to correct away bypass for the beef? i pick to devour meat and vegitables because it truly is a fashion of existence. Plus do you fairly opt for to be a vegan? animals like cows and goat were milked for hundreds of years, besides the undeniable fact that it would not seem very pleasant milking an animal, that is totally organic. ingesting breast milk as a infant is very a lot a similar ingredient. Soy milk isn't organic yet sturdy luck.

"Please be a little more considerate of others"? Where was this thought in your head for yourself when you laid out this troll feast? Do you honestly believe that your little "question" is going to stop the trolls? And do you honestly believe that all the veg*n section trolls are people who eat meat? Did it ever occur to you that some of them might actually be veg*ns with nothing better to do than to troll, and try and make "meat eaters"(we are actually omnivores) look bad?

that's a little bit generalized. i'm an omnivore but i've never gone out of my way to verbally attack or make fun of a vegetarian or vegan. and keep in mind there are vegetarians/vegans who attack people who eat meat. it's a viscious cycle.

I totally agree.Vegans and vegetarians dont irritate us about eating meat.So why should we?I think people say mean things because it says in the bible we should eat meat and everything he gave us.But we should respect you.We just don't like when vegans and stuff question and say to us 'did you know you are killing that species'.And stuff like that.Certain meat-eaters do that because maybe some vegetarians and vegans might've said something to them and they take it out on other people like that. And then they say to people they are bad people and they shouldn't do that, and stuff like that.Still I dont think they should say that about people because alot of vegans and vegetarians are sweet and nice.Probably like you!!STAND TALL!!!!!STAND OUT!!!!!DON'T WORRY ABOUT THOSE HATERS!!!!!!!!!1

I know. I mean yeah, they love dead cows, pigs, fish and chicken... wonderful.
But do they *really* have to take up our tiny little space and taint it with their talk of dead animals. They can do that anywhere. Vegetarians do not eat them, so why would they think we care?
I don't mind that people eat meat, I just wish they wouldn't try to push their views vegetarians.

I'm an omnivore too but I think Vegans/Vegetarians draw trolls is because many Vegans are pretty extreme in their ideology-- that is, you eat meat, you're bad.
I'm ok with vegans, veggies, whatever as long as I don't get hassled for my diet decisions. Peace--
