Ive absolutley fell for this girl after becoming friends first, and she even admits to being confused about our situation for a while. And at this point all of the feelings are out on the table. I let her know her happiness is all that matters to me, and I think Id be able to make sure she'd always stay happy. She was not ready initially and said she wasnt sure when she would be ready, so I had no problem waiting, but then she informed me after nearly 7 months that she was but did not see anything between us. We were close friends before this, and I guess the friendship has not been lost, but I can't help but to think that being her friend might still be enough to have her see me as more in the future...is there a chance or not?

I guess one of the other things im worried about, about being friends...is what if she does end up finding someone else...since after all, we are friends, meaning there is nothing holding her back from persuing other things........not sure how good of a friend I can be once that happens....any suggestions?

I honestly believe that being friends first, is a good way to begin a romantic relationship.... and because you two have been friends for a long time, maybe she needs more time adjusting to the fact that you no longer want to be her buddy buddy, but instead, you love her and want to be her boyfriend/husband..... dont give up, but dont push the subject on her...she may and may not turn around one day.... and whatever will happen, will happen for a reason... but i think that it will work out, because i was in the same situation with my boyfriiend, we have been friends for 6yrs and then we started dating and it was soooo weird once all the feelings were brought out....it took alot of time, and getting used to, but now we're married.... everything wonderful, takes time.
be there for her, and spend time with her...and good luck.. im sure this will work out, and you two will realize that being such great friends was one of the best ways to strengthen a serious relationship....

Absolutely. Theres something you need to understand aboput the female mind. When a guy tells us how they feel its weird because we have this mind frame that we are the only ones who feel this way, so in a way it totally throws us off guard. So im telling you that she's definitely into you and she does want something she's probably just a little scared because she's afraid of ruinig your friendship but you should just tell her like this, hold her hands and look her in the eyes and tell her that she has no reason to be scared and no reason to worry and that you love her and all you want to do is make her happy and make sure she's safe. That the only thing that matters right now is how you feel, to not worry about what will become of the friendship later because if anything because you were friends first and the feelings have lasted so long it will be a very loving and strong relationship.

If there is, you better act quick before she worries about losing a good friend if it doesnt work out.
