My husband has a moderately severe case of it. He is on Lantus and insulin 2 times a day. He takes this by injection. He is a bit overweight and has high cholesterol levels. He suffers from kidney failure, diabetic neuropathy. His family history is strong for diabetes. His father had it, his paternal grandmother had it, his great grandfather had it. He does not eat right no matter how I try to make healthy food, he would rather have a greasy hamburger and fries any day. He often sneaks off to the local fast food place to indulge. He worries me to death. His father dropped dead from a heart attack 4 years ago. He was only 65. My husband has diabetes a lot worse than his dad did.He does not heal well if he gets a scratch or cut,and it takes him much longer to heal than it takes me. He also gets these awful boils that have to be treated. He is usually very tired most of the time and has no energy. His fasting blood sugars tend to run around 140. His blood sugars have been over 600 at one time.

I am writing to tell you what an incredible impact these methods had on my life! I have had type 2 diabetes for 27 years. For me, the worst part of this horrible disease is the severe pain I constantly get in my feet. The pain is so bad that I avoid standing and walking as much as possible. I've got to tell you that within the first month, my feet stopped hurting altogether and I can now walk totally pain free.

Believe it or not, I even danced at my niece's wedding last month, something I have not done in a many years. I've been following the book for six months now and my blood sugar is well within normal range. I feel great!

I recommend you use the Type 2 Diabetes Destroyer to naturally reverse your diabetes.

My mother has had for the past 10 years. Some of her complications are the fact that her vision is being affected by it, and of course normally, diabetes is combined with high cholesterol. When her glucose level is too low, she gets very shaky and feels like she about to faint. Her doctor recommended her to have a some Life Savers (the candy) to get her glucose back up to normal. But complications vary from person to person and their life style. My mom goes to the gym 3 times a weeks and she also walks every morning for an hour. Her diet isn't that great but she tries to stick to her diet and her medication. And no diabetes is not PRIMARILY linked to obesity, cuz I know a lot of people with diabetes and they are all slim including my mom. However it is link to obesity but is not the "primary" cause of it.

I do remember in college I had a fellow class mate who died from diabetes type 2, but he dranked a Diet Coke every morning during fasting.

So if you haven't already, see a doctor immediately and just stick to a good healthy diet and live an active life. Stay away from bad habits such as smoking.

I've been type 2 for over 15 years. Not perfect but try to be in control. So far the only problem has been some mild neurapathy in my feet. It really varies by each person. Both my grandfathers have/had type 2 as well. One lived from his early 30's unit 76 years old and died from cancer. The other has had it for over 30 years and is 94 years old. Control and active lifestyle is the key I think.

Type II diabetes is primarily linked to obesity.

It also has a strong genetic component that increases the risk of conracting the disease.
Type II diabetes ( previously called "adult onset") is now commonly seen in obese children.

While protection from diabetic complications cannot be easily in the short-term, there is good reason tp believe, based on laboratory observations and accepted disease theory, that end-organ (heart, eye nerve and kidney) damage can be substantially mitigated in all types of diabetes.

In newly diagnosed (early stage) diabetics, particularly the obese, the Mangosteen appears to have a beneficial effect on reducing carbohydrate cravings. This facillitates weight loss, which is critical in controlling the severity of the disease.
Additionally, type II diabetics experience significant decreases in blood sugar levels by using the fruit.

A word of caution ----- diabetic patients too often take mangosteen's favourable effects on blood sugar to mean that they can relax their vigilance regarding dietry restrictions or just outright "cheat" with forbidden calories. Such action will nullify the beneficial effects of this marvelous food supplement.
drugs are dangerous and foods, as supplements, are not.

Its been almost 2 months since I have been on insulin. My advice for you is to take care of yourself.
