15 rd. Heavyweight Title fight.

To my man Brad, I'm not so sure he would've "destroyed" Witherspoon as you claim. Spoon in his prime was big, strong, durable, had a good chin, a wicked right hand and he was a pretty good fighter. So i think the word "destroyed" is a little far fetched.

That would be a great fight. Witherspoon was a great fighter but got screwed by Don King. I think Holyfield would win though. Both are great fighters but I think Holyfield had more heart and would pull it out.

Interesting fight sir! Holyfield is the better boxer with the power being about even. Holyfield had more heart and determination and that would be a major difference. I think that Holyfield has too much overall skill for Witherspoon and drops him for the count in round 9. Good question.

Very even on a physical level--- height, reach. Power about equal. There is something in Holyfield however that can't physically be seen and that is heart. Holyfield by decision. This fight could happen because both are still active. Witherspoon fights someone next month. Holyfield is trying to get another title shot.

Spoon was a damn good fighter! Holyfield lost twice to Riddick Bowe and Witherspoon was a better fighter than Bowe.

Witherspoon in good shape with his mind set would give any heavyweight a tough outing. With his tight defence and clubbing right hand.

Aainst Holyfield it would be close.

Spoon wins a decision.

In their primes, Holyfield would win a unanimous decision, if not a late-round KO. Witherspoon never impressed me.

witherspoon would have given holyfield fits with his crab like style. but in the end evander would have stopped him around the 11th rd.

If Witherspoon was at his best, I think he would stop Holyfield late.If not, Evander wins a unanimous decision.

C'mon dude, this is a no-brainer. Holyfield would've destroyed Witherspoon.
