You need to see your doctor, and if you think you might have diabetes then they will do a blood glucose test, to determine whether further diabetes checks are needed or not. The numbness is your hands and itching, that could be circulation related. It depends where the itching is. The symptoms of diabetes are generally feeling thirsty and peeing a lot, your urine might have a "pear" smell to it (due to increase of sugar in the urine), feel shaky, sweaty and confused. I had numbness in my hands, but they found no answer, but checked my circulation.

Hope it goes well for you.

Go to the doctor and tell them your symptoms. But beware they don't always catch diabetes. You know your body and write down what's going on because brain damage can occur if you have let this go on to long and you may not remember what has taken place this can have. Professional testing and you doctor normally has to write the order for it to be done. My doctor didn't find it my Gastronologist did not find it and we are looking at 3 to 5 years of being sick.

From these symptoms, it could be anything. You should see your doctor about these symptoms. It is good to write down everything before your appointment so that you don't forget anything.

These symptoms are seen in Diabetics, but also are seen in other disease processes.

Good luck.
