Anything that disrupts the normal functioning any of the many aspects of the human body could be considered a disease, although trauma is not thought of as a disease per se.

Good question. In my opinion, a disease is a condition that prevents a person from performing normal life activities and/or makes the body age prematurely.

a disease in America is unfortunatly too often
a serries of undereducated poor choices.
in 1800's diseases were from real 'bugs'
plague, yellow fever, polio, TB, consumption, malaria.
from 1950's on "diseases" started to come from food. nobody in 1950 or 60 died or heard about 'peanut allergies'. heart diseases were for folks who actually 'worked' too physically hard or were 'old' in their 60's ot 70's.
colon cancer was not heard of.
ask yourslf 'Do I actually Know where or how my food comes to me?" you probably don't.
the majority of health deaths are self induced through poor choices. Ask any diabetic, which is reversable (type 2)
