Has anyone or is anyone on the raw food diet? If so did you stop eating cooked food instantly?

RESEARCH! You have to do it right, like any diet change. You must know what you are getting into first. Asking questions is a great start. The Krishna religion promotes a raw food diet and they have newletters both online and in print. Just yahoo!/google "krishna raw food diet" there you will get lots of answers. GOOD LUCK!

Yes. I went raw foodist for Lent one year. Just did it. No holding back.

I bought two books on the subject for info and recipes. I bought a lot of machinery. Good blender. Dehydrator. Food processor. Mandolin. I was like some kooky mad scientist in the kitchen. These things helped a lot.

I saw one of Huell Howser's 'Visiting' episodes where he was with a woman who has figured out a way to prepare all kinds of raw foods with the right spices. Huell was fawning over all her preparations, it made me want to try it. Here is the link to episode #1416:
