You are dying because you smoke.

YOU SHOULD QUIT RIGHT NOW,,this pain is definitely due to excessive smoking and whenever you have an appointment with the doctor..he will definitely tell you to not smoke...a friend i heard suffered from the same..was hospitalized for 3 days fro proper medication.
Take care.

I'm not a medical person, but I have heard/read about pain in chest that radiates to the back..poss. heart attack symptoms...don't be stupid and wait till Monday...go to the er and have them check you out...Monday might be too late..then again could be onset of bronchitis, pluresy or pneumonia...but don't hesitate!!!!!!!

well maybe you should think of quiting. From chest to back sounds like your lungs. You may not be able to see your primary care physician but you can go to a walk in clinic. Then again it could be gas.

It could be something like;pneumonia (cough? recent cough? fever)
It could be something like: pleuritis (chest WALL pain)
Usually if it worsens with specific movement, it's related to that. Any recent activity using chest muscles, repetitive movements?

Please, please, go to the emergency room! It may be nothing, but it would be well worth your while and the time you take to check that out.
Ask about smoking cessation programs, also. You need to look into this, for your own health--think about those who love you and get healthy and stay there for them, and also for your own self's sake.
Go to the emergency room!
