quit smoking pill?

Question

I just wanted to say I have been taking the pill for almost a month. I have had no issues with it. It dosent mess with my other medications which is VERY improtant to me. I hope anyone who is out there and thinking about this goes and talks to thier dr. The price is reasonable, I will end up saving 400.00 a month! I never thought I would be able to quit. I have been smoking sense I was 16 that means over half my life I have had a ciggie in my mouth...........wow! Good luck to anyone who is looking at quiting. Just hang in there!

I am taking Chantix NOT wellbutrin. That would have ment I had to change all my medication. That was NOT an option. Chantix is new but definetly go check out the site www.chantix.com and definetly call your dr. another day smoke free. At this point I am getting more smells back. Ones that I didnt even know I didnt have! Today I smelt Maple Syrup. it was so strong!

I'm guessing you are talking about bupropion (brand name Wellbutrin).

I knew someone who used it too to quit smoking and they said it worked great. Congrats on quitting smoking! My boyfriend did it too (using patches) and he is much healthy now!
