Really no idea why you would be asking vegetarians and vegans about this. The smell of all fish, raw or cooked, wouldn't be something anyone on here would be interested in.
I'm about to get a cat and will be trying to wean it onto vegetarian cat food now that every nutritional requirement for cats can now be created synthetically. So hopefully I won't be having anything in my house that smells of raw tuna or anything else.

What a question! Especially one to ask in the vegetarian/vegan section. Did you know that there is cat food that is indeed made with fish (even tuna)? And about the taste of raw tuna..I never had the "pleasure"

Some cat food contains tuna, but I'm sure it's cooked. Most cats would probably love raw tuna if they got their paws on it.
Some people travel down the tuna boat, but that's a different matter.

I find the flaked can tuna smells very much like a can of cat food. I buy the solid, it costs twice as much but the quality, texture and of course the smell is more like fish.
