I wish I didn't snore Is there anything I can do to stop it? Most people I know that snore are over weight. I weigh only 135 pounds.

Try some breath right nasal strips.

Just because someone is overweight doesn't automatically mean they snore. That must just be a coincidence, because 135 pounds is definitley not overweight. But, I would reccomend some nasal strips from Target. Not expensive and at all and I know plenty of people who use them. Also try being somewhat elevated, this could prevent snoring.

I was just reading at the doctors office yesterday that although obesity is a common cause of snoring, it can also be due to the shape of a persons airway as well as the tone or quanitiy of tissue in the throat. I snore too, I tried those BreathRight nose strips. Believe it or not, they work!!! CPAP machines will also stop the snoring - but they make almost as much noise.

Snoring may be due to hereditary reasons .Leading an active lifestyle , sleeping on your side, avoiding alcohol or eating heavy meals at least 4 hours before sleeping will help . More remedies

Snoring needs to be checked out by the doc as often there is a medical cause for it. See your doc and get this checked out, If he rules out a medical cause for your snoring he will be able to tell you what to do about it.

Breathe Rite strips work really well...they even have a sensitive skin type. Breathe Rite also make a mouthwash type gargle that's supposed to work but I've never tried it. Good Luck!

Also try www.webmd.com - they should have more options.
