Do we think by brain? or by heart? we all say I love you from the bottom of my heart, or has science not advanced till yet to understand it? well you are free at will to answer on spiritual or scientific level.

Why should you just ask doctors and paramedics, are they the only ones capable of feeling love, of knowing love's etiology, love's signs and symptoms, love's treatment, love's prognosis?

Thinking with the brain and the heart are often expressions used for logical and emotional thinking respectively. However, all thought occurs in the brain. The heart is just a pump for the blood and nothing more.

The brain is what controls us. The heart is just a pump but the reference to it being involved with emotion probably stems from the ancient egyptian belief that the heart is the centre of ones being and the brain was just a lump of porridge.
