Absolutely not!
Genital warts are caused by the STD HPV (Human Papillomavirus). HPV is only spread by sex (vaginal, anal or oral) and by DIRECT skin to skin contact with the infected area. It can also be spread during childbirth if the mother has the STD, but this is REALLY rare.
You can NOT get genital warts from a toilet seat, bathtub, shower, sink, eating utensils, etc. You need DIRECT skin to skin contact.
I have had HPV for 6 years now. I had genital warts from it about a year ago. At the time I was still living with my parents and two brothers. NONE of them ever got the virus from me by using the toilet after me. Friends, boyfriends and other family members have also never got the virus from me by using the toilet after me. The virus is just not spread like that. You need some sort of sexual contact to spread HPV!

No, you can't get this from a toilet seat. HPV (aka genital warts) is so common over 80% of the population have this. You contract this disease when you have sexual contact with someone who is infected through touching of public hair, skin to skin contact, etc. Someone may have this disease and you won't even know it (maybe the warts are not present). I know there is a new vaccine out that protects you from getting HPV if you are in your 20's.

I've read a lot about HPV and the evidence I've seen says no. You get it if the infected person touches their genital warts and then touches your genitals and of course genital to genital contact. If condoms don't cover the area, which many times they don't, you can contract it that way as well.

No No No ... Its called a sexually transmitted disease because that's most likely what you have got to be doing to get it , You can only get crabs or scabies from toilet seats , less you have a cut on your bum and the blood of hepatitis is two weeks fresh and you happen to sit on it exactly were the cut is on your bum .That's the only things you can get from a toilet seat because anything outside human flesh is a unsatisfactory host and it will quickly die . So don't you worry about getting anything from your friend , skin to skin contact with the invected site only spreds it .. less you do her then worry
