I checked the JIF website. Here are the listed ingredients:

MADE FROM ROASTED PEANUTS AND SUGAR. CONTAINS 2 PERCENT OR LESS OF: MOLASSES, PARTIALLY HYDROGENATED VEGETABLE OIL (SOYBEAN), FULLY HYDROGENATED VEGETABLE OILS (RAPESEED AND SOYBEAN), MONO- AND DIGLYCERIDES AND SALT.

Glycerides, both mono-, di-, and also tri, are glycerol which can come from either animal fats or plants. So unless it's marked VEGAN you can't trust that it is. Those mono and diglycerides may come from animal fats.

The only type of peanut butter I use is
Smart Balance. It's totally vegan.
The biggest thing to watch out for
is the sugar or sugars in peanut
butter. Most contain refined sugar
that has been bleached with animal
bone char. Many also contain corn
syrup as a separate type of sugar.
For me corn and syrup are cursed
words when placed together.
I avoid them at all cost.

The only other type of pb I would
use would be an organic low sugar
kind with vegan contents.
I like Smart Balance because it
includes Omega Fatty Acids.

Yes, peanut butter is fine. You should stay away from foods like raw cookie dough or cake mix ( anything with raw egg ) and stay away from tuna fish or at least any amount more then 6oz. I hope this helped. I wish you luck this time. I know how it feels. I am 6 weeks pregnant and scared of miscarriage. I had one December of last year so I am freaking out but just try to relax!

probably, but it's not a peanut butter thats healthy. It's got hydrogenated oil in it (trans fat). Skippy makes a natural NO STIR PB and so does the Costco brand Kirkland.
