White rice is fairly healthy. The rice still in the husk (brown rice) is much healthier. If that is all you are eating, you might have some problems. Fried rice and all that goes into it doesn't have any fiber (the stuff that makes you go poo). It's really important that fiber is incorporated into you diet (among other things you are probably missing or not getting an adequeate amount of). I prefer to live by the motto, Everything is healthy to eat as long as you do it in moderation.

Oh, no you can eat it every day without harm.

I actually think fried rice is probably one of the most balanced meals you could eat. If it's take out, it probably has to much salt and MSG, but I think your fine eating just that. Maybe you'll be the next famous person losing weight eating just one item (like the subway guy). Happy eating.

The worst I can think of would be headaches or bloating if there is a lot of MSG.

If you are eating a lot more food than usual, then you might gain a little weight.

Otherwise, rice is not bad for you. Enjoy! :)

Sounds like you really like rice. Try re-cooking it in a pan. Or better yet, I scramble some eggs, and green onions first then stir in my leftover rice with some water and Teriyaki Marinate, until all the rice is soft, then sprinkle some sesame oil - its great.

You might want to consider taking a vitamin, and drinking more water (if you got the rice from a chinese restaurant) or you'll feel bloated because of all the salt. If you made it yourself, you'll be perfectly fine.

No but you really shouldn't - a tad 'too heaty' meaning it may tilt the "yin yang" balance of your body system. Result? Heatiness, sore throat and if you have a cough, STOP! Fried food will aggravate it. You can restore the body's balance by having cooling food - Chinese tea, herbal desserts (jelly), vegetables salad, even beer.

If something bad happens it's not because you're eating rice!

no. maybe if you eat a gallon in one sitting. even then you will be hungry again in 20 min. is this the same rice? like you bought a lot of it and its been sitting out and every mealtime you go and nosh off of it? kidding. if that is all i ate every day, i would lose a lot of weight.
