One or two is better than before, but yes, it still will cause negative effects. It will also prevent the body from recouperating from the damage your previous smoking caused.

Well, there is no doubt that smoking puts your at higher risk for a number of diseases, and the more you smoke, the greater that risk is, so it's definitely better to smoke 1-2 cigarettes per week than 1-2 packs a day, but I think it's better still to smoke zero cigarettes ever. I can't tell you exactly how much risk that level of smoking will cause, and I am not aware of any specific studies that will answer exactly that question, but I can say that you're definitely better off quitting.

Yes it can hurt you. Smoking Kills. Now that you have cut down to 1 or 2 a week, cut it out all together. Not only are you killing yourselfs and me, but you are wasting hundreds and hundreds of dollars on nothing. Save the money and go buy a new car.

you need to understand that the nicotine is not what hurts, it is the constant damage you do to the lung tissue by inhaling the hot gases that are in smoke. These weaken the lungs making them more likely to get clogged up and sore and cancer

If you can cut down to only 1 or 2 a week, then why not try to cut them out altogether, come on, you can do it, good luck.

No, it won't affect you in any serious way.
The problem, however, is that it is easy to get addicted and start smoking more and more.
