I invited my new neighbors for a get-together..what food do I serve?

Just moved into a new neighborhood and I invited all my neighbors on my street to get to know them. I am planning to do some finger foods kind of like a high tea or a kaffeeklatsch....
What food should i serve? What would you like to munch on if you were my neighbor?

It's still very cold here and it will be indoors.

For a high tea, probably a couple of savories like chicken salad sandwiches and cucumber sandwiches. Other possibilities for high tea: plain or flavored scones with lemon curd and devonshire cream on the side, a cheese tray with different flavors of cheese, and a fruit tray or fruit salad. Then have coffee and different flavors of tea!!!!!!!!!!

Have to have a large variety. Since you are new, you may not want to offend or cause someone to get an allergic reaction. I would get/make a veggie/cheese tray, meat ball sandwiches (meatballs in a crock pot with pasta sause) and small bagettes, salads, potatoe, cobb, etc. finger foods (i.e. egg rolls (Sam's club), chips, salsa, etc.) Have a cooler handy with ice, for soda, and beer, hopefully your new neighbors are courtious enough to bring something also. Stock up on coffee and teas. And don't forget a memoral dessert.

Bake cookies or brownies.

And stop stressing about it and have a great evening.

It's never to cold to fire up the grill!! Fix burgers, chops, or chicken. Have everyone bring a covered dish - they know each other well enough to coordinate who will bring what - a couple of the hubby's could bring over their grills & help out w/the meat. Have grilled dogs & fixings for all the kiddies.....Great idea on meeting your new neighbors - Enjoy!
