also? blood suger testing at early age to detect diabetes or early warning of it so parents can change childrens diets? mexican mothers and fathers, in particular, seem to feed kids wrong food!

It wouldn't hurt, my son is 7 & his doctor got blood work done & he has high cholesterol.
He's know eating some low fat stuff & more whole grains.
It makes me mad though that the healthly foods are more expensive.
I've been buying the whole grain waffles, & last week all the other Eggo waffles were on sale (even the flavored ones), but the whole grain & low fat weren't.
And the wonder why Blacks & Hispanics aren't as healthly!

Absolutely not. The last thing we need is more "Big Brother" in our lives! When the government starts telling us how to raise our kids and what to feed them, and implements measures to enforce what they say, it's time for a radical revolution.

Besides, who's going to pay for the programs needed to do this? Wanna guess? YOU and ME, that's who, through higher taxes.

Nope...let me raise my own kids, thank you.
