Since you asked, "why do I..." and implied that someone else is responsible for your health in a public place, when they are fully abiding by the law... all I have to say is this:

Grow up Connie. Life is life. No one can guarantee that you won't get a whiff of someone else's smoke. If it bothers you that much, then wear a surgical mask like Michael Jackson.

I completely agree with you. I used to be in management in wal-mart and the higher up didnt care enough to change things. They even have a smoke room in the back where the break room is and still they don't enforce people not to smoke in front of the front doors. I was pregnant and couldn't take it. My unborn child deserved to decide at a later age if he wanted to smoke or not, right.

But I know it for a fact that I am get killed slowly by the emissions from your car and from your body as well (perfumes, deodorants, farting, belching, sneezing and breathing various life threatening bacteria, virus and fungii)

You should march yourself right to the manager and complain! We don't allow that at Meijer! If you smoke you have to go to your own vehicle or go to the smoking break room provided. I hate walking through someones smoke, too.

Get a life. If you don't like the smoke just turn around and leave. They have rights also.

Why do you want to control every aspect of my life? Is it because you are meglomanic and only you know how to run my life, to satisfy you own needs.

Sorry, but when you support Wal-Mart, you get what you deserve.
