Symptoms of a heart attack include:

1. Angina: Chest pain or discomfort in the center of the chest; also described as a heaviness, tightness, pressure, aching, burning, numbness, fullness or squeezing feeling that lasts for more than a few minutes or goes away and comes back. It is sometimes mistakenly thought to be indigestion or heartburn.

2. Pain or discomfort in other areas of the upper body including the arms, left shoulder, back, neck, jaw, or stomach

3. Difficulty breathing, shortness of breath

4. Sweating or “cold sweat”

5. Fullness, indigestion, or choking feeling (may feel like “heartburn”)

6. Nausea or vomiting

7. Light-headedness, dizziness

8. Extreme weakness or anxiety Rapid or irregular heart beats

Women often have different symptoms of a heart attack than men and may report symptoms before having a heart attack, although the symptoms are not typical “heart” symptoms

The best time to treat a heart attack is within one hour of the onset of the first symptoms. When a heart attack occurs, there’s a limited amount of time before significant and long-lasting damage occurs to the heart muscle. If a large area of the heart is injured during the heart attack, full recovery becomes much more difficult.

Studies show that the people who have symptoms of a heart attack often delay, or wait to seek treatment, for longer than seven hours.

A heart attack, known medically as an acute myocardial infarction or MI, occurs when a coronary artery is completely blocked or almost completely blocked. Blood and nutrients are not able to reach the part of the heart muscle below the blockage. The severity of the heart attack is a result primarily of the area of the heart that is affected.

The symptoms of a heart attack are severe chest pain, shortness of breath, excessive sweating, weakness, nausea, vomiting, and palpitations. Loss of consciousness and death may occur if not treated immediately.

Victims of heart attack are people who are of old age, mostly male, smokers, diabetics, high in cholesterol, and obese. If a 10 year-old boy is very obese and does not have control of his body, he has a 25% chance of getting it.

Heart problems may come from improper diet, stress, lack of exercise, improper lifestyle and many more.

Sometimes there are no warning signs before a heart attack. Some symptom's can be shortness of breath, chest pain, pain in your shoulders, and fatigue can be signs of a heart attack. Although it is rare a heart defect's like a small hole in the heart or a faulty heart valve can cause heart issue in young people. If you are worried go to a doctor and request a e.k.g. Also having an enlarged heart can be an issue in young people as well.

Lots of good info here already but here is my two cents worth about a child. It would be very rare indeed for a child to have an ischemic heart attack. However, it is not uncommon for a child to have an undiagnosed genetic defect to the heart itself, specifically to a valve in the heart.
You will see stories from time to time on TV about a young person who was playing basketball or football and they suddenly collapsed and died. In most cases this was due to a previously undiagnosed genetic defect in the heart and unless you have a child get a workup with an ultrasound of the heart it is very difficult to know until it is too late.
In any case, I hope this helps to some degree.

Generally children do not suffer heart attacks, but it has happened in rare circumstances. Some of the symtoms are chest pains (of course), shortness of breath, pain in your left arm, etc. There are many causes of a heart attack. Do your research, you can find many articles on it on the web.

It wasn't a huge fall, she fell approximately 10 inches to the carpeted floor, yet she started crying so hard she lost her breath and fainted. Oh my gawd, I freaked out. We did no longer have a telephone on the time and the only neighbor that replaced into domicile replaced right into a woman upstairs that I hadn't met yet. At that 2d, i spotted i did no longer have any pants on. What a thank you to fulfill the neighbor. And we ultimately found out she has breath-keeping spells that are no longer a huge deal, yet look like a huge deal once you will no longer be able to make your techniques up why your infant in simple terms handed out. for sure, i'll under no circumstances examine all that frightening stuff on the computing gadget on a similar time as on my own together with her lower back.
