my plan is to record the ECG activity after a period of 4 minutes exercise, and I would like to what will happen, or if there will be any changes

Well it will increase your heart rate, but not to much change will occur after only four minutes ! And depending on your hearts condition and your age, will determine any changes to your P Q R S &T wave complexes !

The brain sends out signals to heart, lungs to change rates of breathing, messages to limbs to move. That is why changes occur. The more you do, the more your brain sends signals. The less you do the less your brain sends out.

If you stop excersize the signals to move stop, so ecg will not show activity the same.

You only get readings for what you body is doing, not done or will do.

Strangely similar with the other dude's querry.... Anyways...
It makes your heart rate faster. It also shows some heart ailments not normally seen on a resting state heart (the rationale behind the threadmill stress test).
