I need some advice on party ideas...music....food.....decorations.....etc....anything that will make a girls sweet 16 the bomb !!! Why not have a Wannabe Party?
Where do you want to be, what do you want to be doing, what will you have done by the time you are twenty years older?
Everyone can come as they think they will be twenty years from now... doctors, lawyers, astronauts, clerics, soccer players, moms, accountants, etc.
Stage a nice dinner party for "networking" and "socializing", an evening for getting dressed up and being what you want to be in the future. Dinner, dancing, and of course, presents and favours.

WEll now that your16 you need a huge party try hooking a band like hinder and have a whole day going to the store for food and games all lot of stuff .goodluck

why don't you have a masquerade party! make it a semi casual thing; girls in dresses, guys in nice pants and shirts; and everyone can wear their own mask.
there areplenty of caterers out there that wouldn't mind helping with the food. that way there's no cooking or cleaning dishes for you!

Hmmm. these are the themes that I like...Toga Party, Hawaian... without where you are from I am kind of stuck... unless you just want a just Formal Affair.

theres lots of things you could do:
a black and white affair (and you where a really bright colored dress), your favorite movie, your childhood, circus, a faraway destination, vintage, rock and roll, arabian nights, etc...
but dont do a tropical theme... its so overdone and out of style. same with hollywood
