Tell him to get some abreva and wait until he's not contagious (even though you can get it if he doesn't have a sore!!!)
Ask him if HE'D kiss an open sore on someone elses' body!

tell him to wait until the sore goes away. i get cold sores as im recovering from a cold and my boyfriend usually doesnt notice it b/c i only go around him once it starts to heal. in other cases i dont let him kiss me

Oh heck... he doesn't have to have sores to introduce you to the hobby. How much do you like the guy? Could you at least remain friends with him if certain areas of your person occassionany got rashes or painful sores? If not, the explain to him to him your reasons. ANd always remember, friendshup is disease deep.
