Dry cough with a lot of phlegm is a contradiction first of all. For a dry cough you need a cough suppressant. For a productive cough you need an expectorant. It is possible for cough to last this long with winter time (depending on climate). Many other irritants can come into play also. You don't mention if you smoke or have allergies, asthma, etc.

i found a product in a health store where they sell vitamins and herbal remedies. i didn't want to take a heavy duty prescription so i asked advice from the shop keeper.

the stuff is called echinacea combination. the word combination is important. it's made by Insure. the label also has the "zand" formulas on it. write this all down because sometimes if a shop keeper thinks you're uninformed they'll try to sell you something that they need to get rid of.

if you follow the instructions, you'll feel better in two days but keep taking it for a week so that you don't have a recurrence.

refill a pan packed with water and positioned it on the range till ultimately its boiling . lean over it with a towel so as that no steam will get away and take deep breaths via your mouth and in on your lungs. this might desire to realy loosen it up
