Bypass is a temporary solution. It does not guarantee that block will not take place again. The patient has to be under medication for the rest of the life. You can use Rice bran oil. It is too good. Start taking Rudved ayurvedic capsule for 4 to 6 months and then you can stop all your medication.

Sorry, but I can't answer all of your questions. I will here focus on the first question. You may have heard of the program developed by Dr. Dean Ornish, of the Preventative Medicine Research Institute in Sausalito, Ca. This lifestyle intervention may be the best option. The program involves... A very low-fat vegetarian diet. To reduce total fat to 10% of calories, participants learn to cook without oil or other forms of fat. The American Heart Association recommends that 30% of calories come from fat--but that's too high. ... Aerobic exercise. Brisk walking, jogging, stair-climbing or biking, at least 3 hours a week. ... Yoga, stretching and meditation--for an hour a day. Facilitates deep relaxation. ... Group therapy. To teach people ways to express their emotions and improve their relationships. For the first 3 months, program participants come in 3 times a week for exercise, diet counseling, stress reduction and group therapy. For the next nine months, they come once a week. By then, they have incorporated the diet, exercise and stress-reduction into their lives.

Diet:
BREAKFAST: grapefruit, eggs, bacon
LUNCH: grapefruit, salad, meat
DINNER: grapefruit, meat, vegetable or salad
Dyspnea:
Diaphragmatic breathing should initially be taught with the patient supine or propped on several pillows (if orthopnea is present). The patient places one hand on the abdomen and the other on the chest and is instructed to inspire with maximal outward movement of the abdomen; maximal diaphragmatic contraction during inspiration compresses the abdominal contents and causes the abdomen to move outward. Once the patient is proficient in the technique, diaphragmatic breathing can be practiced sitting or standing. Although the physiologic benefits of diaphragmatic breathing are controversial, the technique should be encouraged in patients who report a reduction in dyspnea.

Dyspnea aka difficulty breathing needs to be checked out by the doc as this means something is going on to cause it. As for a diet for heart patients. Low fat low cholesterol is what is recommended and fairly low sodium. Have your relative see the doc though ASAP about that dyspnea.
