young children can have chest pain. My friends son was diagnosed with 'reflux' but he complained of it as chest pain. Also, is it possible he has asthma? Is it possible he has a heart related murmur? I have heard of kids having rapid heart beats, that actully require medicine, and they complain of chest pain. Next time he complains, take his pulse, note what the rate is, and if it's regular or not. Call his doc, and get him in for a check up. If he continues to complain of it, I'd call his doc.

Take him to the doctor. He may have asthma. Either way, you shouldn't be asking people on here, doctors know best.
