Right now I am 5'5'' and I weight 155, I know I should lose some weight, but I was at 141, recently went through a break up and found out I have a low thyroid problem so I have gained a little weight, but should I loose more than I thought, reading other people's who are my height and weigh 125 makes me want to shoot myself lol . At 141 I am a size 4 or 6 maybe. Is that fat, when I look in the mirror do i see a skinnier person than I actually am, do others see me as a fat person? I would probably be happy at 145, but once I am there I will probably be depressed to be 146, I really just want to loose 10 first, I would be happy. But right now I am staying the same just by dieting becuase of my thyroid problem that the doctors say isn't serious enough to be on medication for. Any advice or answers, do you think I am fat, I probably weigh myself about 5 times a day and am always thinking about it, and if I could be anorexic, I would... Please be honest!! And if you have any tips on losing

A size 4 or 6 is NOT fat.
If your BMI is healthy, if you feel good, than your good. If your a size 6 your not fat. If you feel like youd like to drop some pounds, go ahead, but do it for you and not because some of us have lower BMI's. 60 something percent of people in America are either overweight or obese, so you are actually in the thinner percentage already (if your in America).

I just looked at your BMI and at 155 your overweight and at 141 your pushing overweight. Maybe 130 should be your goal, but be healthy about it, losing too fast is just as unhealthy. So eat less cookies and do more jogging. Good luck.

At least you are thinking about it and not letting yourself go. I ditto the advice of others with regard to the BMI - you need to feel good and be in the acceptable range. You are lucky to have your problem, there are many who are way over.....

Don't let your emotions rule you, you owe that to yourself. The 140 ish sounds good to me.
